Big Data and Analytics
(Hub of Hubs)
(CLICK HERE TO READ OUR WHITE PAPER)
Big Data is best described by Data Volumes that exceed a repository’s capacity, excessive Data Processing
Times, or a need to simultaneously interpret both Structured and Unstructured data (i.e. Structured data is
typically found in relational and NoSQL databases, while Unstructured data is comprised of images, emails, contracts, information related to social media, etc.).
In order to garner the benefits Big Data Analytics, many, if not most companies, elect to move data into Big Data repositories such as Hadoop, Data Lakes, or Cloud Analytical Services (e.g. Azure Analysis Services), etc.
While this works, there are a number of drawbacks:
-
It takes time, expense, and planning.
-
New skills need to be acquired.
-
Enterprises may be siloed, where each silo is autonomous and may not elect to move data.
-
Large companies may have sister brands, also autonomous.
Taking account of the above challenges, we've developed a "Hub of Hubs" product that integrates all platforms without having to move data or learn new technologies. The net effect is lower costs and greater agility.
